Personal Info

The focus of my interest is communication in general, and more specifically online communication, website usability research.

The main area of my researches are web usability and different testing methods, with a special emphasis on eye-tracking.

I have been teaching at Corvinus University since 2000, and I have been adjunct professor at the National University of Public Service since 2011. Subjects I teach at the university: Online communication, Communication theory and practice, External Communication, Non-verbal communication, Presentation Techniques, Public Relations.

In the autumn of 2011, I was visiting professor and researcher at the Department of Communication of the University of Bologna. I gave lectures in ”Website usability and usability research methods”, and conducted scientific research on the websites of Bologna, Saragozza and Emilia-Romagna.

In addition to teaching, I participate in research related to UX.

What I do

Most of the time I work with simple usability tests or use eye tracking method. My major works and research projects: Hungarian governmental portal magyarorszag.hu, the websites of the city of Bologna and the province of Emilia-Romagna, WWF, Toshiba, Ringier, Invitel, Telenor.

I defended my doctoral thesis in 2012, in the theme of scientific methods for studying usability.

I live in Budapest with my husband and my little children: Peti and Lizi.
